TAFL April Event ‘Low Pay? No Way!’

Develop Your Personal Brand: Increase Your Opportunity for a Higher Pay

Taiwan Association for Future Leaders (TAFL) was pleased to host its second sit and dine workshop seminar: Low Pay? No Way! The evening was featuring three keynote speakers by delivering their focus on developing personal brand from both a professional and also personal standpoint; in addition, each renowned speaker was sharing their insights and experiences in financial, government, and media industry of their interests, in relation to personal branding.

Featured Keynote Speakers include:

Shang Ping Han – World Journal President
World Journal President Shang Ping Han was sharing his 30 years career experiences in the media industry. He suggested that people should always learn more skills and make them stand out from others. In order words, people should always make them visible to potential opportunities. For employees, it is very important to establish a strong relationship with their supervisors to get opportunities for promotion.

Ling Chu – Manager for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Burnaby Service Center
S.U.C.C.E.S.S Burnaby Service Center Manager Ling Chu was sharing her 20 experiences at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. The most important thing for her to work at S.U.C.C.E.S.S is all about her passion. Hence, she asked what our passion for life is. She also pointed out that people need to have common sense in order to understand others better; because human beings should learn from each other.

Alex Fan – CIBC District Vice President, Vancouver Westside & Richmond District & National Asian Banking
CIBC District Vice President Alex Fan said if you are not improving yourself and not ready to have the job interview that you have been longing for so long, and then don’t expect the company will hire you. You can always improve yourself by reading books and increasing your professional skills and knowledge. For every task, it is necessary to fully prepare yourself ahead of time. No matter how many difficulties you are facing, just work on it and you will see the result one day!

It was a great opportunity for all the attendees to hear some extraordinary career advices from the three renowned speakers. We wish you all find your passion and life goals by pursuing your dreams. Low Pay, No way – Develop Your Personal Brand: Increase Your Opportunity for a Higher Pay

Taiwan Association for Future Leaders (TAFL) is pleased to host its second sit and dine workshop seminar: Low Pay? No Way! This workshop seminar is set to focus on more of an industry-related topic, and is opened to University Students, New Graduates, and Entry-Level Business Professionals.

The evening will feature three keynote speakers who will deliver their focus on developing your personal brand from both a professional and also personal standpoint; in addition, each renowned speaker will be sharing their insights and experiences for a specific topic, of their interests, in relation to personal branding. During the event, there will also be a networking session held before and after the workshop seminar, where attendees and industry professionals will have the opportunity to build invaluable relationships with one another, while also learning about the many industries available to them.

6:00pm – 7:00pm: Buffet Dinner/Networking Session
7:00pm – 8:00pm: Keynote Speakers (20 minutes/speaker)
8:00pm – 8:30pm: Q&A Session
8:30pm – 9:00pm: Second Round of Networking
